The now well-known Casa Ortiz is the result. Cooking and preparing meals for large groups had always been a hobby for this family, each having their own strong individual talents that would eventually lend itself to their now thriving business. Pedro was great on the grill, making brisket and Bar-B-Q; Maria had a flair for pasta and potato salad, one item she has always been well known for. Now, this devout Christian family all participates in various areas of the business, their daughters Gracie, Patty, and Jessica all have a hand in the day-to-day operations of the catering business itself and also the restaurant, which started off as a small location with only five tables. Cigar Frog’s Celebrates Anniversary of Repeal of Prohibition in Style...

Spring time is here and that mean the Midland Downtown Farmer's Market is back! The market open every Saturday through November from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The market is located at 501 W.
