Prescott's Cafe

After more than 20 years of diligently working for other companies, Vonnie and Robert Prescott made the decision to take a huge leap of faith and open what they call a “true family business” in Prescott’s Café and Catering. They certainly accomplished their goal, with success way beyond their initial expectations. Opened in Odessa in 1993, Prescott’s boasts not only being in the same location for more than 17 years, they also take pride in the longevity of their employees, most of which have been there consistently since the restaurant opened. The staff has come to be known as a second family to the Prescott’s, and speaks highly of this entire group’s dedication to this restaurant and their customers.

Marquez Bakery ... Sweeeeet!

As a regular customer at Marquez Bakery I have come to love their Mexican sweet bread.  If you’ve never tried Mexican sweet bread you are missing out on one of the most popular foods that Marquez Bakery has to offer.  Marquez Bakery originated in San Angelo, Texas 40 years ago.  In 1980 Marquez Bakery opened its doors right here in Odessa, Texas.  Jaime Marquez is the proud owner of the San Angelo store and He also manages and takes care of the day to day operations of the Odessa store.  In visiting with Mr. Marquez I quickly picked up on his quiet confidence that has kept his business up and running all these years.  Marquez Bakery not only offers cakes, cookies, and pastries, they also serve up all your favorite Mexican food for breakfast and lunch.  With the holidays coming up stop by Marquez Bakery and pick up some fresh tamales and Mexican sweet bread for you and your family.  Don’t forget to meet Jaime Marquez, you’ll be glad you did.  Marquez Bakery Inc. and Tortilla Factory 620 N.
