Enjoy 20 beers from around the world at the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) 2nd Annual Hops & Props, Sat., April 24, 2010, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the George H.W. and Barbara Bush Commemorative Center Hangar at 9600 Wright Dr. in Midland, Texas.
Hops & Props will feature live music from Brian Milson and the Short Road Band and great food from area restaurants! You can take a break from the dancing just long enough to peruse the Silent Auction featuring unique items from the CAF and Permian Basin vendors! Also in 2010, the CAF is upping the ante, going from just 17 beers in 2009 to 20 unique brews for you to taste in 2010! This is 2nd annual event is sure to top the last.
Every ticket holder will receive a commemorative Hops & Props 2010 glass, the best way to enjoy spectacular beer!
Tickets are on sale now at Prescott’s Café & Catering, Sleep Inn and Suites in Midland, Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the CAF Headquarters in Midland. You can also purchase your tickets online at www.commemorativeairforce.org. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. No one under age 21 will be admitted.
Reserve a table of eight for your group or business for $450. Tables will be marked with your group or company name and will include a commemorative 2010 Hops & Props t-shirt and beer glass for each place. Collecting, restoring and flying vintage historical aircraft for more than half a century, the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) ranks as one of the largest private air forces in the world. The CAF is dedicated to Honoring American Military Aviation through flight, exhibition and remembrance. A non-profit educational association, the CAF has approximately 9,000 members and a fleet of 156 airplanes distributed throughout the country to 74 units located in 27 states for care and operation.
